Actual methods of esed electronic equipment treatment are described. Main threats to environment and human being caused by hazardous substances arising from landfilling or incineration of electronic wastes are specified. Contemporary concept of complex approach for eco-design and end-of-life management of electronic equipment that resulting in precious raw materials recycling and wastes reduction is presented. Main issues linked together electronics with ecology, composing the subject of the "Ecology in electronics" conference were discussed.
