In this paper, the rules of application of eco-indicator as a useful tool for designers have been presented. The ecological effects related to materials applied in production of personal computers are presented as an example. The analysis of environmental impact connected with different types of the methods of computer utilisation is described. The calculations was made with the help of computer programme SimaPro 4,0 (Pre Consultants B.V.). Ecodesigning with eco-indicator can be efficient tools of limiting negative influence of product on environment during his full life cycle.
In the article are presented ECO-design specification of the electronic equipment and its principles. Given survey of ECO-design methods presents general ideas of some methods such, as complex method, list verification method, ECO-indicator method and intuitive method. The state of the tools aiding the process of ECO-design of the electronic equipment is discussed |
