Abstract

One way of increasing the efficiency of fluorescent tubes lighting is application of electronic ignition. This method gives improvement ignition of fluorescent tubes and increase their life. The new hybrid electronic ballast allow to reach considerable saving of electric energy and materials in short supply (steel, cooper). In article are incorporate results of research and development work conduct in PITE and OBRMHiR in Krakow. Research were devote to elaborate new version of hybrid electronic ballasts to supply fluorescent tubes, discuss solution, configuration and technology of electronic ballasts and prospects of development this proecological domain of electronic circuit.
