Jan Pieñkos - THE PROBLEMS OF DISASSEMBLY AUTOMATION OF ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS
Abstract
The problems of disassembly automation of electronic products have been presented in this paper. Technical and economical limitations concerning introduction of disassembly automation as well as the architecture of the line and disassembly cells have been described. The special attention was paid to modular, flexible disassembly cells. Examples of disassembly cells and lines have been also presented. Many research works in the field of disassembly process automation today is concentrated on designing of modular, flexible cells which can be applied for groups of similar products, requiring nearly the same disassembly operations - carried out with the same disassembly tools. These cells should have modular, flexible structure. The main modules of such cells from the research point of view are: industrial robots or handling devices visual systems for the recognition, positioning and checking operations special gripping devices and disassembly tools, especially developed for robots.
