Used computer discarded on the landfill is a serious threat, because lead, mercury and chromium from this computer can get through the environment. Therefore, it is necessity of the used computers sensible recycling. One possible way of the recycling lies in the preparation used computers or their well-operating elements for reuse (refurbish or upgrade). In both cases, there is necessity of the development low cost, and at the same time effective, methods and means of the computer diagnosis. In the paper, one of possible ways of the functional testing of computers and its elements is given.
